Tonight (November 1), Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6 (Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security) said they are coordinating to handle the incident of a truck overturning and blocking two lanes on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway.
According to initial information, at around 7:30 p.m. the same day, truck with license plate 61C-265.XX was traveling on the Phan Thiet – Dau Giay highway, from Dong Nai to Binh Thuan. When reaching Km81+350 (Xuan Loc district section, Dong Nai province), the tire suddenly exploded, flipped over, and blocked 2 lanes.
Fortunately, the incident did not cause any casualties. However, the scene of the incident caused hundreds of vehicles to be stuck, causing a traffic jam that stretched for more than 2km.
Upon receiving the news, the traffic police were present to examine the scene and investigate the incident.
To ensure traffic on the route, the authorities organized traffic flow for vehicles to move to the exit towards Highway 56 to continue their journey.
