Truck burned to frame on Highway 1

On the morning of August 2, Nui Thanh District Police (Quang Nam) said that a truck fire had just occurred in the area, causing a lot of property damage.

According to initial information, at about 3:00 a.m. the same day, the truck with license plate 43H - 031.76 driven by Nguyen Thanh Hung, traveling on National Highway 1 in the North - South direction, when reaching Km1001 + 800, passing through Ba Bau village (Tam Xuan 2 commune, Nui Thanh district), suddenly caught fire fiercely.

When the driver discovered the vehicle was on fire, he managed to escape safely. However, because the truck was carrying many flammable goods such as books, engines, clothes, etc., the fire spread quickly, burning the entire vehicle.

Upon receiving the news, Nui Thanh District Police coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department and Quang Nam Provincial Police to arrive at the scene to participate in extinguishing the fire and regulating traffic.

Many goods on the car were burned.

After about an hour of rescue, the authorities were able to completely extinguish the fire. At the scene, the truck was burned to the frame, and the goods on the truck were completely burned.

Quang Nam provincial authorities are assessing initial damage and investigating the cause of the truck fire.
