On the afternoon of January 17, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Committee Conference expanded to summarize the activities of the Union and the Ho Chi Minh City youth movement in 2024 and discuss the plan for 2025.

Choosing the theme of activities in 2025, it is expected that the work of the Association and the youth movement of Ho Chi Minh City will be "Ho Chi Minh City Youth is patriotic, united, and confident in entering a new era".
The activities of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and Youth Movement in 2025 closely follow the movement "I love my Fatherland" and the program "Building a strong Vietnam Youth Union". This is also the new program framework associated with the 2024 - 2029 term determined nationwide.
2025 is also the first year to start implementing the targets associated with the target system of the entire term established by the 9th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union.
In particular, activities related to career establishment, innovative start-ups, and accompanying young people in economic activities will be focused on in the design of activities. Along with that are contents related to the 50th anniversary of national reunification (April 30) and the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding (February 3).
In 2024, the work of the Association and the city's youth movement continued to achieve many results in the movement "I love my Fatherland". This movement is associated with the contents of the city's youth being patriotic, brave, living beautifully and usefully, creatively starting a business, volunteering for the community, being physically healthy - having solid skills - proactively integrating internationally.
The results also showed that all 12 performance targets were met and exceeded. The target for free medical examination and medicine for children and disadvantaged people was over 290% of the target, with about 88,000 people benefiting.
On this occasion, young people also listened to the sharing of some experts on the application of artificial intelligence in activities, especially in communication and content creation.

Welcoming the Year of the Snake 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and the Youth Union Traditional Club organized a meeting of Youth Union officials of all periods.
The program will take place at 5:00 p.m. on January 22, 2025 (the 23rd day of the 12th lunar month) at the 4A yard of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House (4A Pham Ngoc Thach, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1). This notice is in lieu of an invitation. We respectfully invite all officials of the City Youth Union of all periods to attend.
