At the seminar "Utilizing regional linkage resources in trade promotion" held recently, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Van - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Director of Huong Van Tra Cooperative said that the first thing for the Cooperative to be able to bring the best quality products to the market is to strengthen linkages with people to produce quality products.

Accordingly, to have a quality raw material area that meets VietGAP standards, Huong Van Tra Cooperative has coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Thai Nguyen and the provincial Department of Agricultural Extension to guide people in taking care of the tea plants according to the correct process. At the same time, people are also supported with fertilizers and herbal medicines to spray and water the tea plants.

In addition, every year, the Cooperative's tea growing land is inspected by the Department of Agricultural Extension or the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to determine whether the soil and water indexes meet the criteria for nurturing tea plants or not.

“When people are guided, cared for, and love tea plants as they love themselves, it is a happy thing for the business. Because only when they realize that everyone's health is also their own health, can they do and follow the correct production process to bring out the best products, ensuring the health of users” - Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Van shared.

Currently, Huong Van Tra Cooperative has more than 20 hectares of tea growing area according to VietGAP process. Recently, the Cooperative has also cooperated with a unit to fertilize according to the completely organic fertilizer process on an area of ​​more than 10 hectares. In 2022, the Cooperative will expand by more than 10 hectares in Phuc Triu commune, Thai Nguyen city. This is one of the lands that produces famous Tan Cuong tea varieties.

In addition to having quality products, the cooperative also focuses on product packaging. Currently, all products of the cooperative are packaged in environmentally friendly bags, ensuring the best preservation of the products, avoiding light, mold and loss of tea aroma. In addition, the characteristic that makes the famous brand of Huong Van tea is the flavor and color. The green-yellow color of the tea water combined with a bit of astringency spreads across the tip of the tongue and then leaves a long-lasting sweet aftertaste in the throat, conquering even the most demanding tea connoisseurs.

With its quality products, Huong Van Tra Cooperative has achieved the title of typical agricultural product of Thai Nguyen province with the product line Ngoc Xuan tea - high-class tea. The Cooperative is also honored to receive the Certificate of 4-star OCOP products with the product lines Huong Van tea - Shrimp tea and Ngoc Xuan tea. Currently, the Cooperative has a total of 18 members, all of whom are tea growers in Tan Cuong. The Cooperative's product market covers the whole country, mainly concentrated in some provinces such as: Quang Ninh, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ho Chi Minh City...

To contribute to promoting the brand, bringing products to consumers in a unique way as well as creating a closer connection between people's souls, Huong Van Tra Cooperative has opened a tea-drinking space imbued with traditional imprints and elevating Vietnamese culture. The Cooperative regularly organizes "tea making and tea tasting" classes for students and customers to practice as a way to preserve culture. At the same time, the Cooperative has participated in many promotional and trade promotion programs to bring products further.

Expanding the market for key products

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Van shared that in the coming time, in order to have the next step forward and develop, Huong Van Tra Cooperative always focuses on the raw material area to bring the best products to the market, working with the people to follow the standard care standards. At the same time, the Cooperative will expand the raw material area, connect with people from other communes, bring to the market better products with more beautiful designs.

Linking production and promoting trade focusing on key products of the region is a trend that will be implemented in the coming time. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Van emphasized that with the commercial playground, it is very necessary to have facilities to spread products.
