Gasoline and oil prices both decrease after 4 increases

This afternoon (July 11), the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly announced changes to retail gasoline prices in the new adjustment period. The application time starts from 3:00 p.m.

The management agency decided to reduce 180 VND/liter for E5 RON 92 gasoline, down to 22,280 VND/liter; reduce 260 VND/liter for RON 95 gasoline, down to 23,290 VND/liter.

Similarly, diesel price decreased by 340 VND/liter, down to 20,830 VND/liter; kerosene price decreased by 180 VND/liter, up to 21,030 VND/liter. Fuel oil increased by 250 VND/kg, up to 17,780 VND/kg.

Thus, domestic gasoline prices have decreased after 4 consecutive increases. Since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have increased 16 times and decreased 12 times. Oil prices have increased 15 times and decreased 11 times.

In this management period, the joint ministry did not set aside or spend the price stabilization fund for all types of gasoline.

Previously, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued a decision to revoke the certificates of eligibility to act as distributors for four petroleum enterprises.

Specifically, the Ministry has decided to revoke the certificates of eligibility to act as petroleum distributors of Petrolink Trading and Supply Company Limited; Minh Phat Petroleum Trading and Transport Company Limited (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City); Duc Hanh Company Limited (Hong Bang District, Hai Phong City); Ngoc Khanh Trading and Transport Services Joint Stock Company (Dien Ban Town, Quang Nam Province).

The above decisions were issued in consideration of the request to submit and return the certificate of eligibility to act as a petroleum distributor of enterprises.
