Implementing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day

On the morning of April 9, the Steering Committee for activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces (PPP) of Vietnam and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection held a conference to listen to reports on the progress of the implementation of the plan to deploy groups of tasks. Implementing Decision No. 280 of the Prime Minister ; Plan No. 243 of the Provincial People's Committee on organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, the Provincial People's Committee has established a Steering Committee and assigned tasks to each agency, unit and locality.

In particular, focusing on implementing 8 major groups of activities, including: Propaganda,education ; emulation - rewards; cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities; conferences, seminars, talks; mass mobilization activities, gratitude; work to ensure security, order and build the People's Public Security force; foreign affairs activities; organizing a commemorative meeting program scheduled to take place on August 16, 2025.

Up to now, in 8 major groups of activities, the units have completed 5/17 contents of propaganda and education activities; have deployed 3/4 contents of cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities; are deploying 2/3 contents of emulation and reward activities; have not deployed 2/3 contents of conference, seminar and talk show activities.

The contents of mass mobilization activities, gratitude; security and order assurance work and building the People's Public Security force have been and are being implemented with many rich and diverse contents.

At the conference, members of the Steering Committee requested the Provincial People's Committee to continue directing the press to widely publicize this event, especially the heroic history, feats and achievements of the People's Public Security Forces in general and the Vinh Phuc Provincial Police in particular.

Localities promote traditional education and gratitude activities. The provincial police proactively review and promptly propose a list of collectives and individuals to be rewarded. Along with that, the provincial People's Committee pays attention to and provides additional funding for organizing activities to ensure they take place solemnly, meaningfully and on schedule.

Concluding the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Hieu requested agencies, units and localities to continue to contribute ideas to the draft assignment of tasks to each member of the Steering Committee based on the plan of the Provincial People's Committee, ensuring that it is consistent with the assigned functions and tasks. Proactively review each content and have a budget estimate report sent to the Department of Finance as soon as possible. Press agencies continue to promote strong propaganda about this event.

If any difficulties or problems arise during the implementation process, they must be reported immediately to the Steering Committee to seek advice from the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to promptly resolve and ensure that the event's contents take place successfully.
