Hoang Chau commune receives decision to recognize commune as meeting model new rural standards

Representative of Hoang Hoa district leader presented the Decision of the Provincial People's Committee recognizing Hoang Chau commune as meeting the model new rural standards.

Hoang Chau is a commune located in the Southeast of Hoang Hoa district, more than 10 km north of the district center, a land rich in historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions.

In 2023, Hoang Chau commune was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as a commune that met advanced NTM standards. Continuing to promote the results of the NTM construction movement, the Party Committee, government and people of Hoang Chau commune have united, unanimously and determined to implement the model NTM criteria. The total capital mobilized to build a model NTM in Hoang Chau commune reached over 73 billion VND, of which resources from the people accounted for 82.9%.

The socio-economy is increasingly developing, the appearance of the countryside has changed significantly, meeting the development needs of the locality and the people's lives. Production models with high economic value are increasingly being replicated, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people. The average income per capita reaches 72.3 million VND/year.

In the commune, 10/10 villages have cultural houses fully equipped with cultural institutions. Schools in the commune have met national standards, of which, kindergartens meet national standards level I; secondary schools and primary schools meet national standards level II.

In building a model new rural area, the commune has chosen to build outstanding criteria in healthcare and selected Giang Hai village to build a smart village model. The infrastructure of the commune's medical station has been invested in and built spaciously, fully equipped with functional rooms and modern machinery. The commune will complete digital transformation in 2024. Political security, social order and safety are ensured, and party building and the political system are strengthened.

Outstanding efforts and hard work have made Hoang Chau one of six communes in Hoang Hoa district recognized as meeting the standards of a model new-style rural commune.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the District People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha acknowledged and commended the results that the Party Committee, government and people of Hoang Chau commune have achieved in recent years.

The Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee emphasized: Receiving the decision to recognize the model new-style rural commune as an honor, a source of pride but also a great responsibility of the Party Committee, government and people of Hoang Chau commune on the road ahead. He requested that the Party Committee, government, unions and people of Hoang Chau commune continue to promote the revolutionary spirit combined with valuable experiences, good, creative and effective ways of doing things, proactively seize opportunities, overcome challenges, exploit potentials and advantages to build Hoang Chau commune to develop more and more.

The locality needs to promote high-tech agricultural development; build production linkage models, product consumption; develop trade services, and rural industries. Continue to plant more trees, maintain environmental sanitation, and continue to mobilize people to donate land to expand roads in villages and alleys with a longer-term vision for development. Pay attention to comprehensive development of education, culture, and health care in the direction of standardization and socialization.

Focus on promoting the spirit of “self-reliance - self-reliance - self-strengthening” of each citizen of Hoang Chau commune, constantly striving to get rich on their homeland. At the same time, promote the spirit of dynamism, creativity, exploiting the potential and advantages of the locality; mobilize and effectively use local resources and constantly attract external investment, creating a lever to promote the socio-economic development of the commune faster and more sustainably.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of Hoang Hoa District Party Committee Le Van Nghia and Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha presented the Decision recognizing Hoang Chau commune as meeting the model new-style rural standards along with a bonus of 1 billion VND from the Provincial People's Committee and 300 million VND from the District People's Committee to Hoang Chau model new-style rural commune.

On this occasion, the Party Committee, government and people of Hoang Chau commune received many meaningful gifts from organizations, individuals, people and children living far from home to congratulate the changes and development of their homeland.
