Increase enrollment quota for grade 10 high school in the 2025-2026 school year

According to information from the Departmentof Education and Training, the enrollment target for grade 10 high school in the 2025-2026 school year in the province will increase by about 10% compared to the previous school year. This means that the chance of passing grade 10 of public high schools in the province will increase from 66% to 75%.

The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year in the province will take place on June 1-2 with 3 exams: Math, Literature, English for students registering for non-specialized high schools; the specialized subject exam will take place on the morning of June 3 for students registering for Vinh Phuc Specialized High School.

It is expected that the whole province will have about 19,100/more than 20,000 grade 9 students registered for grade 10, equivalent to the number of candidates registered for the exam last school year. The enrollment target for grade 10 public high schools is about 14,400 students, an increase of 1,600 students compared to the previous school year. To prepare for the exam, the Department of Education and Training has announced sample exam questions early to help schools guide students in reviewing.

According to the plan, the Departments of Education and Training and schools will complete, end the program and recognize secondary school graduation for students before May 12, 2025. From May 14-20, students will register for admission on the online software of the Department of Education and Training from the provided account.
