Implementing the emulation movement "Building Tien Giang women to meet the requirements of the new period", the Women's Union of Cai Lay district has united its members in many meaningful activities. Accordingly, 100% of the Women's Unions of communes and towns have plans and launched projects and tasks to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas such as collecting and sorting household waste at the source; contributing funds and donating land to build rural traffic; beautifying the environment, planting trees on green - clean - beautiful roads; launching a movement to limit and reuse plastic waste, building and improving the quality of flower roads, bright - green - clean - beautiful roads... In 2024, the Women's Unions at all levels in the district have implemented 25 projects to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas, with a total value of more than 2.7 billion VND.

At the same time, the Cai Lay District Women's Union determined that women of the new era must have knowledge, morality, health, and be responsible for themselves, their families, society, and the country. From there, the Union propagates and mobilizes women to proactively study, improve their qualifications, exercise, promote creativity in all fields, and build a prosperous and happy family... Unions at all levels focus on training and improving the capacity of Union officials at all levels, promoting the application of information technology in Union work.

The Women's Union of 16 communes and towns maintains and replicates forms of savings to help each other overcome difficulties, livelihood models such as: Women's savings groups to help each other reduce poverty, revolving capital contribution, piggy bank raising, professional groups... In 2024, the models mobilized more than 20 billion VND to support members in production, providing interest-free capital to women in difficult circumstances.

The District Women's Union has well managed the capital entrusted from the Social Policy Bank and the Fund for Supporting Women in Economic Development of Tien Giang Province with a total outstanding debt of over 123 billion VND, creating conditions for women to develop suitable economic models. Implementing Project 939 "Supporting Women in Entrepreneurship", the District Women's Union and its grassroots units have disseminated, oriented, provided career advice and provided capital to members and women to realize their entrepreneurial ideas and develop their family economy.

The accompanying and supporting activities of the Association at all levels have gradually improved the quality of life of members and women. Women have more will and effort to overcome difficulties, actively compete in labor and production, spread the spirit of solidarity, and help each other escape poverty sustainably. At the same time, promote dynamism and creativity in all fields, contributing to the development of local socio-economy.
