By the end of November 2023, Vu Thu district had collected more than 100 billion VND from land use rights auctions, reaching nearly 14% of the provincial estimate and 12.6% of the district's plan for 2023. The reason is that the progress of site clearance for some projects is still slow; procedures for implementing many land use rights auction projects in localities are facing difficulties and are behind schedule; Party committees and authorities of some localities have not been really active in land use rights auctions; and the impact of the real estate market. Vu Thu district strives for revenue from land use rights auctions to reach 170 billion VND in December 2023 and more than 800 billion VND in 2024.

At the meeting, delegates analyzed limitations and proposed solutions to remove obstacles in the implementation of land use rights auction projects. The district requested specialized units at the district level and localities to closely coordinate with each other to remove difficulties in each project in the spirit that the district will support and create the most favorable conditions for projects to soon organize auctions. Each commune and town urgently reviewed all land funds at the grassroots level, closely following the provisions of the law and directives of the province and district to establish new land use rights auction projects, creating resources for the locality. Units and localities advised and proposed to build a reasonable starting price for land lots when organizing auctions, in accordance with the provisions of the law, attracting a large number of people to participate in the auction. The district will have a worthy support and reward mechanism to encourage communes and towns to compete to overcome difficulties and rise up, with revenue from land use rights auctions reaching and exceeding the plan set for 2024, contributing to creating budget sources at all levels to invest in economic and social development.
