On October 30, according to information from Ha Tinh Provincial Police, the results of the handling of the case of throwing dirty substances on the bride and groom at the wedding that caused a stir in public opinion were available.
Accordingly, the police of Luu Vinh Son commune advised the leaders of Thach Ha district police to issue a decision to administratively fine Ms. Bui Thi T. (45 years old, residing in Xuan Son village, Luu Vinh Son commune) 3.5 million VND for the act of Pouring and throwing dirty substances at others.

Previously, the person who threw the dirty substance and the bride and groom had reached a civil agreement, the injured party did not request compensation for damages and did not initiate a lawsuit.
The two victims also asked the police to consider reducing the sentence for Ms. Bui Thi T.
On the violator's side, Ms. T. voluntarily remedied the consequences and publicly apologized to her ex-boyfriend and his wife in front of all the local people at the village cultural house.
According to Ha Tinh Police, the cause of the incident was determined to be a long-standing personal conflict between the person who threw the dirty substance and the groom.
Previously, on October 4, a 45-second clip was circulated on social media recording the wedding procession being pelted with dirty substances.
Specifically, the wedding procession was moving close to the gate of the groom's wedding hall when suddenly a woman wearing dark clothes approached, threw dirty substances and ran away. Many witnesses were shocked.
The incident happened so quickly that the bride and groom did not have time to avoid it, resulting in their clothes getting dirty.
According to local police, the couple who were splashed with dirty substances were the bride Duong Thi Y. (41 years old) and the groom Duong Van H. (43 years old).
All three people live in the same village in Luu Vinh Son commune.
Previously, Mr. H. had feelings for Ms. T. but the two could not be together because their families forbade it.
Some time later, Mr. H. fell in love with Ms. Y. and got married. At noon on October 4, the groom organized a wedding procession and the above incident occurred.
