VNPT 'joins hands' with Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee to promote Digital Transformation

VNPT and Tay Ninh have had specific programs to implement the strategy of developing telecommunications and digital infrastructure to successfully build local Digital Government, Digital Economy and Digital Society.

On July 1, a representative of the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) said that they and the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province signed a cooperation agreement for the period of 2024-2030 to promote Digital Transformation in this locality. Accordingly, the two sides have specific action plans aimed at successfully implementing the strategy of developing telecommunications infrastructure and digital infrastructure towards successfully building the Digital Government, Digital Economy and Digital Society of Tay Ninh. The two sides pledged to mobilize comprehensive resources to best implement the cooperation agreement, improve the operational efficiency of each side to bring the highest benefits to the government, people and businesses, making Tay Ninh province one of the leading localities in Digital Transformation in the country. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province highly appreciated the coordination and support of VNPT in the past time for the locality in developing telecommunications and information technology service network infrastructure as well as initiating the implementation of digital transformation of the province, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the locality. The leaders of Tay Ninh province also expressed their hope that the results achieved from the cooperation agreement for the period 2024-2030 on Digital Transformation will be higher, more practical and more effective so that Tay Ninh can exploit the maximum potential of the locality, achieving breakthrough developments in the coming time. Meanwhile, Mr. To Dung Thai - Chairman of the Board of Members of VNPT also shared about a number of key items that this unit will immediately deploy for Tay Ninh in each specific field of building Digital Government, Digital Economy and Digital Society. Mr. Thai also said that VNPT is ready to immediately start implementing the plans agreed upon by both sides so that the results of Digital Transformation will truly help Tay Ninh open up and make the most of the local potential and competitive advantages to further develop the socio-economy, affirming the province's position in the key economic region of the South as well as the whole country. Previously, implementing the cooperation agreement on telecommunications and information technology for the period of 2019-2023 with Tay Ninh, VNPT has effectively implemented cooperation items in the following areas: Developing a master plan to deploy information technology applications for industries and fields in the area; Deploying service network infrastructure and technical systems, video conferencing, public telecommunications; Supporting information security and network security when DDoS attacks occur on DNS services on the server system; Building a Smart City Monitoring and Operation Center (IOC) to integrate data from departments and fields, along with the Tay Ninh Smart application to serve the monitoring and operation work of the Provincial People's Committee; Provincial-level shared data integration and sharing platform (LGSP); Centralized security and order surveillance camera solution; Equipping and upgrading IT systems to serve digital transformation in sectors and fields in the province, including Education, Health, Agriculture, Natural Resources - Environment... In addition, a number of other Digital Transformation projects and plans have also been successfully implemented by the two sides such as: Deploying digital transformation solutions for districts and cities, for people and businesses; Enterprise electronic information portal, Business Management software for business households.../.
