On the morning of February 16, the international super cruise ship Seven Seas Explorer with nearly 800 tourists from many countries entered Nha Trang Bay.
From the Seven Seas Explorer, tourists traveled to Nha Trang City to visit Tran Phu - To Hieu - Vo Thi Sau - Quan Truong river embankment - Vo Nguyen Giap - Dien Khanh - 23/10 street.
During the tour, tourists visited places including wet rice cake kiln; buffalo and cow plowing; rice paper kiln; local houses; ate fruit, drank coconut water; visited Phu Vinh communal house and mat weaving; Loc Tho pagoda; Xom Moi market...
Some tourists choose to take a cyclo around the city through the main road in front of the tourist attractions such as the Stone Church, Nha Trang station, Dam market, etc. Or visit Ponagar Tower, Long Son pagoda, Truong Son craft village, etc.
Previously, on February 14 and 15, Nha Trang Bay welcomed the Diamond Princess ship with about 2,600 tourists and the Celebrity Solstice ship with about 2,800 tourists to Nha Trang city for sightseeing and tourism.
Accordingly, since the beginning of 2024, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa has welcomed 10 international cruise ships with more than 20,750 tourists coming ashore for sightseeing.
According to Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, it is expected that in 2024, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa will welcome more than 44 international cruise ships. This is a positive signal for the recovery and development of cruise tourism activities in Vietnam in general and Khanh Hoa in particular, contributing to the success of Khanh Hoa tourism industry.
Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism also set a target for 2024, the total number of visitors is estimated to reach 9,000,000. Of which, international visitors are estimated to reach 3,000,000; domestic visitors are estimated to reach 6,000,000. Tourism revenue is estimated to reach 40,100 billion VND.
