Accordingly, many vehicles and human resources have been mobilized to dismantle and level 15 housing projects in Dien residential area, in Ward 2, An Binh Ward. These are the houses of households that received compensation and resettlement support when the state reclaimed land many years ago, but the households have not yet moved to a new place to hand over the land.
After the announcement of the City Land Fund Development Center about the request to dismantle the construction and hand over the site, the households moved to new accommodation but the construction was not dismantled. Therefore, the City Land Fund Development Center and the local government proceeded to dismantle and level the construction to hand over the site to serve the project construction, avoiding the situation of people re-moving to continue living.
A representative of the Bien Hoa City Land Fund Development Center said that currently in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, there are 100 households that need to dismantle their constructions and hand over their land. Initially, 41 households signed the land handover minutes before April 30. For the remaining households, the Land Fund Development Center held a meeting and announced the request to dismantle the constructions and hand over their land from April 15.
After April 30, if households do not voluntarily dismantle the construction, compulsory measures will be applied according to regulations. In addition to reclaiming land from households living in this industrial park, the provincial and Bien Hoa city departments are also focusing their efforts on relocating businesses operating in Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park to soon realize the project of converting the functions of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park.
