Nha Trang Bay is nearly 250 km2 wide, one of 16 marine protected areas in the country. It has many corals and the richest and most diverse ecosystems in Vietnam, famous diving sites, attracting tourists to dive and see the ocean floor. The 2021 storm caused great damage to many coral reefs, combined with climate change, warming sea water causing coral bleaching, seriously threatening the ecosystem here. At the end of 2022, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has a plan to restore Nha Trang Bay, which has been responded to by people and businesses. After more than a year, the coral has recovered with many very positive signs.
