Gia Lai: Exchange "Books - My Friend" inspires students to read

The program was attended by Meritorious Artist Dang Cong Hung - Vice President in charge of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association; Ms. Ngo Thanh Van - Vice President of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association; poet-journalist Van Cong Hung; writer Pham Duc Long; poet Le Vi Thuy and teachers and students from many high schools in Pleiku City.

With the theme “Books-My Friends”, the program was an opportunity for students to directly interact and talk with artists about the role of books in learning and life. Participating poets and writers exchanged and shared their creative experiences, the importance of reading and how to foster a passion for literature. At the same time, they discussed developing a reading culture, choosing creative topics, as well as inspiring students, especially those who have a passion and inclination for writing.

On this occasion, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association presented Le Loi High School with a number of books from the Association and its members.

The exchange program not only arouses the love of books but also creates a space for connecting authors and the young generation. Through the exchange, it has contributed to igniting the passion for reading, making reading culture an indispensable part of school life and spreading widely to the community.
