The program "Exchange of typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the Southern region in 2024" took place in Ho Chi Minh City on the evening of October 11.

This is a special political and artistic exchange program, bringing deep and touching impressions through stories and reports about typical examples and models that always promote bravery, will, determination, pioneering aspirations, self-reliance, self-improvement, and striving in life, bringing practical values ​​to the community and society.

The program honored 17 typical examples and 12 models who are cadres, party members, soldiers, doctors, intellectuals, religious dignitaries, ethnic minorities, workers, farmers and even ordinary but noble examples in everyday life from provinces and cities in the Southern region.

Through specific, creative actions and personal efforts, agencies and units have contributed to spreading positive things, pushing back negative things, embracing beauty, eliminating ugliness, affirming the value and vitality of Ho Chi Minh's ideals, ethics and style for the Party's revolutionary cause and the country's sustainable development.

Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai expressed his honor that Ho Chi Minh City was chosen by the Central Government as the venue for the program. He said this was a valuable opportunity for the city to learn from typical examples and localities about effective methods in studying and following the example of President Ho Chi Minh.

According to Mr. Phan Van Mai, in the period of 2021 - 2024, Ho Chi Minh City has honored more than 1,390 typical examples at the city level and more than 16,900 typical examples at the district and grassroots levels. The city also recognized 326 new models and good practices, along with 247 breakthrough and creative contents.

At the same time, Ho Chi Minh City has implemented the construction of Ho Chi Minh cultural space so that his ideology, morality, style and legacy become valuable spiritual assets, typical cultural values ​​of the city's cadres, party members and people.
