On the evening of December 24, in Hanoi, the Central Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Union and the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association held the Vietnam Golden Star Awards 2024, with the theme "Reaching Vietnam", honoring 200 outstanding enterprises. Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh attended.
The organizers said that the businesses participating in this year's award were nominated from 53 provinces and cities across the country. The award selection committee selected outstanding businesses based on many criteria of business efficiency and social responsibility. The voting results were assessed by economic experts.
The Top 200 enterprises winning the Vietnam Golden Star Award this year have total assets of up to 8 million billion VND; revenue in 2023 will reach 799,000 billion VND, profit will reach 115,000 billion VND, contribute 65,000 billion VND to the budget and create jobs for 405,000 workers.
In particular, the top 10 of the 2024 Vietnam Golden Star Awards alone have total assets of nearly 2.5 million billion VND, revenue of 230,000 billion VND, profit of 36,500 billion VND, budget contribution of 19,000 billion VND and creating jobs for 106,000 workers.
The Vietnam Golden Star Award is one of the major and especially important contents of the International Economic Integration Movement of young entrepreneurs and Vietnamese youth, assigned by the Prime Minister to the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association to preside over the organization since 2003.
