Closely follow reality to ensure progress in organizing the 14th Congress

The Organizing Subcommittee serving the 14th National Party Congress held its third meeting to discuss progress in implementing propaganda tasks and applying information technology.

On the morning of April 2, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the Organizing Subcommittee serving the 14th National Party Congress held its third meeting.

Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Sub-committee chaired the conference.

Also attending were: Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, members of the Subcommittees, leaders of Central agencies and Hanoi city.

At the meeting, after listening to the report of the Standing Committee of the Subcommittee, the delegates discussed the implementation of the organization of the 14th National Party Congress in the past time, the tasks in the coming time; the progress of propaganda tasks; operation of the Press Center; application of information technology; collecting public opinions; international guests; building the information page on the 14th National Party Congress...

The meeting also considered a number of proposals and recommendations from relevant units and agencies.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Tran Cam Tu acknowledged that the Standing Committee of the Document Subcommittee, the Central Party Office, and relevant agencies have made efforts and actively developed programs and plans to serve the Congress; basically ensuring the set progress, being seriously implemented in accordance with the programs, plans, and assigned contents.

In order for the preparation work to continue to be carried out well and promptly, Mr. Tran Cam Tu suggested that in the general report, it is necessary to specify and quantify more clearly the results that have been implemented, and to clearly state the urgent tasks and specific tasks for each agency, unit in charge, responsible and coordinating agencies.

Emphasizing that there is not much time left until the 14th National Party Congress, only about 9 months left, while the workload of the Subcommittee is very large, Mr. Tran Cam Tu requested that agencies and units must closely follow the assigned functions and tasks.

In newly reorganized units, it is necessary to update the tasks of the merged and consolidated units, including the task of preparing to serve the 14th National Party Congress to carry out on schedule and not miss any assigned tasks.

Mr. Tran Cam Tu emphasized that the requirement for close coordination between agencies is very important, with a spirit of urgent work, speeding up progress, and clarifying each task to promptly resolve problems and difficulties in the implementation process.

"If there is anything beyond your authority, please report it. We should not wait too long," emphasizing this, Mr. Tran Cam Tu said that staff work must be quick and decisive to resolve the matter and avoid being passive.

Due to the innovation in the organization of the political system, the tasks and requirements are also different. Many tasks require faster progress, cannot be done in the same way as before, but must be dynamic, flexible and innovative in their approach, closely following the practical situation to implement, otherwise it will not be able to keep up with the requirements of the tasks...

Perform key tasks simultaneously

Emphasizing the importance of propaganda content for Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress, Mr. Tran Cam Tu requested relevant agencies to proactively propose propaganda content, while clearly stating the need to focus on practical content, avoiding waste and formality.

Information and propaganda about Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress need to be associated with the implementation of the country's socio-economic development goals and solutions in the new period with the goal of achieving GDP growth of 8% or more in 2025, creating the premise for achieving double-digit growth in the following years.

Along with that is propaganda about the work of organizing, streamlining the apparatus; developing science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation - one of the major driving forces to accelerate economic and social growth.

Mr. Tran Cam Tu also noted the work of consulting, sending drafts, synthesizing comments on draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress... according to regulations and in accordance with the process of organizing Party Congresses at all levels after arranging and organizing the apparatus of the political system.

The Standing Secretariat emphasized the urgent need to complete the application of information technology and organize the implementation to ensure security and safety for the Congress in accordance with reality.

Relevant agencies continue to proactively review and implement tasks assigned by the Subcommittee; preside over and strengthen coordination between relevant agencies and units in organizing implementation, avoiding missing work, delaying work, avoiding "waiting for each other" in implementing each work content; at the same time, promote and attach responsibility to the head to ensure that the work serving the Congress is truly thoughtful, economical, and absolutely safe.

Requesting agencies and units to be more urgent and determined in implementing the work to serve the 14th National Party Congress according to the assigned plan, the Standing Secretariat stated that this is a very important task, and if well implemented, it will contribute to the overall success of the 14th National Party Congress./.
