Awarding decisions on appointment of leaders of Lao Cai Newspaper.

The conference heard the announcement of the Decision on the establishment of Lao Cai Newspaper on the basis of merging Lao Cai Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station according to Project No. 39, dated March 3, 2025 of the Standing Committee of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, from April 1, 2025; announced the province's decisions on personnel work. Accordingly, comrade Le Truong Giang, Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station was appointed to the position of Editor-in-Chief of Lao Cai Newspaper, from April 1, 2025; the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee appointed 6 comrades to the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Lao Cai Newspaper.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the establishment of Lao Cai Newspaper on the basis of merging Lao Cai Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station is an objective trend, meeting the requirements of reality and implementing Conclusion No. 126, dated February 14 of the Politburo, the Secretariat on a number of contents and tasks to continue to arrange and streamline the organization of the political system in 2025. Thereby, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of press agencies, better responding to propaganda work, contributing to the good implementation of political tasks, and local socio-economic development. Assigning tasks to Lao Cai Newspaper, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that immediately after the merger, Lao Cai Newspaper needs to urgently stabilize its operations and perform well the assigned tasks.
