Launching the Contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025)

On April 2, the Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Provincial Police to launch a contest to learn about the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025). Attending were leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, representatives of socio- political organizations of the province and connecting points of districts and cities.

The contest was implemented with the main contents: Learning about 80 years of building, fighting and growing of the Vietnam People's Public Security force; achievements and feats on the front of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety. The meaning of the National Day for National Security Protection; the role of the masses, union members, youth; youth and children in building and consolidating people's security, ensuring security and order. The feelings and emotions of the people and youth with the image of the Ha Giang People's Public Security soldier "Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people", about the close relationship between the masses and the People's Public Security force; building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern People's Public Security force, meeting the requirements of the tasks in the new era.

The contest starts from April 4, 2025 with 10 sessions every Friday and ends on June 13, 2025, with 2 forms: Written test and online multiple-choice test on the Central Youth Union's Electronic Information Portal. Contestants are cadres, union members, youth, teenagers; police officers and soldiers in the province. Cadres, workers, civil servants, public employees, laborers and all classes of people are encouraged to participate. Through the contest, we aim to arouse pride, encourage and motivate the people and the young generation to promote their spirit and responsibility, contribute their strength and intelligence to the task of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety associated with building a solid people's security posture./.
