In the next 60 days, the investor and contractors are determined to open technical traffic to component project 1A of the Tan Van - Nhon Trach construction investment project phase 1 (belonging to Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3).

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Thi, Director of My Thuan Project Management Board, said that the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project has a total length of about 76.34km, divided into component projects, assigned to the provinces and cities where the project passes through as investors and implementation organizations.
As for component project 1A, 8.22km long, My Thuan Project Management Board is assigned as the investor and implementation organization.
Component project 1A has 6.3km passing through Dong Nai province and 1.92km passing through Ho Chi Minh City, the starting point intersects with Provincial Road 25B in Nhon Trach district (Dong Nai) and the ending point intersects with Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway (Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City).

Mr. Thi added that the Component 1A project plays an important role in shortening the journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Dong Nai, to Long Thanh International Airport and neighboring provinces. After putting the entire project into operation and connecting to the intersection with the Component 1 project expected on June 30, 2025, it will help reduce the load on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway and contribute to remote traffic flow, reducing congestion on the expressways as well as the inner-city road system of Ho Chi Minh City .
As of February 28, the cumulative output of the entire component project 1A has reached 87.18%. Of which, package CW1 (construction of Nhon Trach bridge) reached 94.55% and package CW2 (construction of access road) reached 76.13%.
Following the direction of the Prime Minister, the Nhon Trach bridge project, part of the Tan Van - Nhon Trach section, strives to be completed by April 30 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification.
At the same time, responding to the peak emulation movement "500 days and nights of competition to complete 3,000km of expressway", My Thuan Project Management Board together with construction contractors and project supervision consultants of component 1A organized a launching ceremony and signed an emulation agreement "60 days and nights of determination to technically open the project component 1A of the investment project to build the Tan Van - Nhon Trach section, phase 1 of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3".

Accordingly, the units committed to the emulation contents of 60 days and nights to accelerate the construction progress of Tan Van - Nhon Trach section, phase 1 of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 (from March 1 to April 30); complete the entire CW1 package (construction of Nhon Trach bridge) and basically complete the asphalt concrete paving work of CW2 package (construction of access roads) before April 26. In particular, the goal is to technically open the entire 8.22 km route of component project 1A to traffic on April 27, 2025.
Mr. Thi assessed that to achieve this goal, in addition to the concentration, maximum mobilization of human and material resources as well as creativity, overcoming difficulties, working in 3 shifts, 4 shifts, throughout holidays, continuously for 60 days and nights of the units and the initiative and determination of the investor... the coordination and timely handling of related work items of the Department of Construction Investment Management, the close coordination of the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Department and the Dong Nai Province Traffic Department also played a particularly important role.
"We are determined to accompany the supervision consultants and contractors to complete the emulation agreements of the Component 1A project. At the same time, we also hope to continue to receive the attention, support and timely direction of the Ministry of Transport, localities, sponsors, reporters and people in the coming time," said Mr. Thi.

The contractor's representative, Mr. Koo Ja Kyoung, Director of CW1 project, Kumho E&C contractor, said that the unit initially encountered many difficulties due to late site clearance, so they had to overcome them by mobilizing machinery and workers to keep up with the schedule. In addition, the construction process also encountered many difficulties, however, thanks to the timely and enthusiastic support of the investor, the package has now exceeded the schedule. The contractor pledged to make efforts to complete the items to bring the project to the finish line by April 30.
Similarly, the contractor of package CW2, the Project Management Board of component 1, the Project Management Board of traffic construction investment in Dong Nai province... all affirmed that they will make efforts, try hard, and be determined to achieve the common goal of connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Dong Nai province in the next 60 days.
