U23 Vietnam enthusiastically practices, ready to face U23 Jordan

On the evening of April 8, U23 Vietnam had their first training session in Qatar. Due to the long journey from Hanoi to Doha, coach Hoang Anh Tuan only gave his players a light training program.

Qatar is now entering summer, but the weather is still quite pleasant with temperatures ranging from 22 to 33 degrees Celsius, even with light and prolonged rain during the team's training session. This is rare in the hot season of this West Asian country and helps to cool the air even more.

The team's training session lasted just over an hour, with the main content being muscle relaxation exercises, ball movements, and a mini-game of goal-scoring.

Coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his colleagues tried to convey positive energy to the players, relieving psychological pressure for the whole team in the final preparation stage before entering the challenge at the 2024 AFC U23 Championship.

With experience in coaching many Asian tournaments, Coach Hoang Anh Tuan has quickly and thoroughly built the team's plan, from internal activities to professional activities.

Besides, he also calculates the most suitable training time with the 4-hour time difference to help players adjust and adapt well to their biological rhythm.

According to the plan, on April 9, the players will have the whole morning to rest and continue to adjust their biological rhythm. The team will return to the training ground in the afternoon of the same day to practice tactics and prepare personnel for the friendly match with the Jordan U23 team on April 10.

This match is organized to serve the professional work of the two teams' coaching boards, so it will take place on an empty field and there will be no media coverage.

Coach Hoang Anh Tuan said that he will take advantage of this match to create opportunities for the maximum number of players to play, from which he will more clearly evaluate the performance of the whole team in order to have solutions to adjust in the next training sessions, and at the same time, it will be the basis for deciding to finalize the official list of 23 players at the technical meeting on April 16.
