The book “ The New Chessboard: The Future of International Relations in the Age of AI” aims to provide a comprehensive view of the multidimensional impact of AI on the changing world order. Through 10 articles by 10 authors on a variety of topics, the book leads readers to explore many different aspects of the complex relationship between AI and international relations.
The book begins by analyzing the overall impact of AI, then delves into the role of AI in great power competition as well as its impact on the future of armed conflict, with articles such as: “Overview of artificial intelligence and issues raised”, “Impact of artificial intelligence in international relations”, “Great power competition in the age of artificial intelligence”, “Artificial intelligence and the future of armed conflict”.
The book also expands the scope of discussion to other areas, assessing the opportunities and challenges that AI brings in promoting economic growth, solving global problems, protecting national data sovereignty and responding to information manipulation campaigns through the articles "Economic development in the age of artificial intelligence", "Artificial intelligence and global issues", "Generative AI and the issue of national data sovereignty in modern international relations", "The impact of Deepfake on national information security in the age of AI", "Artificial intelligence governance - challenges and solutions".
