Livestream session "Phu Tho Youth Spreads Wings for Agricultural Products to Fly Far" organized by the Provincial Youth Union at the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign Launch Program
Last May, at the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign Launch Program, the Provincial Youth Union organized a livestream session "Phu Tho Youth Spreads Wings for Agricultural Products to Fly Far". The livestream session was conducted on two social networking platforms, Facebook and TikTok, including a series of activities introducing products, giving gifts and interacting with the audience watching agricultural products, including many OCOP products such as: Sour meat, tea, salted chicken... In more than 1 hour of livestream, the program attracted more than 800 shares, more than 200,000 views with nearly 9,000 positive comments and reviews about the products. This has demonstrated the appeal of typical specialty products, OCOP products, contributing to spreading the traditional cultural values, unique features of the Ancestral Land, demonstrating the volunteer role of young people in participating in the socio-economic development of the province.
Products sold at the "Festival to introduce and promote agricultural products connecting local tourism and commending and rewarding successful ethnic minority youth startups" attracted a large number of people to visit and shop.
Recently, to celebrate the success of the 6th Provincial Youth Union Congress, term 2024 - 2029, the Provincial Youth Union organized the "Festival to introduce and promote agricultural products associated with local tourism and commend and reward successful ethnic minority youth startups" at the Van Lang Park stage, Viet Tri city. The festival was attended by 20 booths of typical enterprises, cooperatives; successful youth startups from 13 districts, towns, city unions and accompanying units in the province.
At the booths, hundreds of quality agricultural products were displayed and introduced, typical of each locality such as: Vinh Lai guava, Tu Xa safe vegetables, tapioca cake, Son Vi warm rice... of Lam Thao district; Tu Da fish products, Phong Chau cassava cake, gray oyster mushrooms... of Phu Ninh district; Phu Ho green tea, Ta Quyet moon cake, turmeric starch... of Phu Tho town...
The festival attracted a large number of people to visit and shop. Mr. Ha Quang Huy in Tuy Loc commune, Cam Khe district shared: I was very satisfied when shopping at the festival, the products on sale were very diverse in types and designs. I chose to buy 20 boxes of sour meat, 3kg of sturgeon sausage and 3 boxes of moon cakes for my family to use gradually and as gifts for relatives and friends.
Coming to the festival, Yen Lap District Youth Union is the unit with the largest number of products participating in the sale and promotion with 18 typical and characteristic OCOP products such as: Ga crow sticky rice, yeast wine, sturgeon fish cake, Luong Son green tea, dried cinnamon, Nang cake, Day cake... The products displayed at the booth ensure the following criteria: Origin, stamps, labels, uses and instructions for use, 100% of the products are listed at public prices that are correct with the selling prices of units, businesses, and cooperatives.
Comrade Vu Dinh Ngoc - Secretary of Yen Lap District Youth Union said: This is a practical and useful activity of the youth in promoting and boosting the consumption of OCOP products, contributing to economic development based on the potential, strengths and available resources in the locality.
Facebook fanpage "Dat To Youth Booth" promotes and introduces OCOP products of the province
The Provincial Youth Union has built a fanpage "Dat To Youth Booth" to introduce and promote the province's products that have been certified as OCOP products such as Thanh Ba purple bud tea, Tan Son corn wine, Yen Ky green tea, Cat Tru banh chung... and start-up products of youth union members. Although it has just been put into operation, the fanpage currently has nearly 700 likes and over 1,000 followers with many shares and positive comments about the products. The construction of the fanpage "Dat To Youth Booth" has caught up with the trend of applying digital transformation in all areas of life, contributing to promoting the development of the digital economy, helping to improve the production and business efficiency of units, enterprises, and cooperatives producing OCOP products in the province.
Through practical and meaningful activities, the youth of the Homeland have contributed to "giving wings" to OCOP products to "fly far", at the same time, stimulating consumption to promote the development of OCOP products, improve economic and social life, and contribute to building an increasingly prosperous homeland.
