Youth of Coast Guard Region 2 Command actively participates in Youth Month

Youth Union organizations launched the program "Volunteer Saturday" with more than 410 union members participating in environmental sanitation, building unit landscapes, dredging canals, cleaning beaches and renovating martyrs' cemeteries.

More than 200 union members coordinated with local commune and district unions to respond to Youth Month, planting more than 100 new trees at Trieu Trach Martyrs' Cemetery (Trieu Phong, Quang Tri), contributing to the construction of the "Gratitude Flower Garden 2025" project.

The 23rd Squadron Youth Union in coordination with the Son Tra Village Youth Union (Binh Dong, Binh Son, Quang Ngai) implemented the "Loving Breakfast" model, distributing more than 100 free porridge and medicine portions to people in need.

The Youth Union of the Department of Crime Prevention and Control presented 6 gifts to poor students in Tam Quang Commune (Nui Thanh); the Youth Union of Coast Guard Station 2 supported 1 gift (worth 1 million VND) to an adopted child in Ly Son District (Quang Ngai).

Units of Squadron 21 and Squadron 202 organized the forum "Voice of Youth - Action of the Union", sports exchanges and coordinated to organize the Festival "Healthy Children - Education on Sea and Island Sovereignty", to propagate to teachers and students about the traditions of the Vietnam People's Army and the Coast Guard.

More than 300 officials and union members participated in the contest to learn about the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation Day; more than 600 union members participated in the online contest "Proud of Vietnam".

Also in March 2025, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command won the collective third prize in the 2024 contest "Learning legal knowledge on the People's Army newspaper"; Lieutenant Tran Thanh Long (Flotilla 212) won the individual second prize.

At the seminar to honor "Outstanding Young Faces" in 2024 held on March 20, 2025, Coast Guard Region 2 had 3 individuals honored as "Outstanding Young Faces", 2 individuals achieved the title of "Promising Young Faces".

The activities have promoted youth, connected the army and people, and highlighted the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Coast Guard soldiers" in the hearts of the people.
