"Impression of Huong Tra" conical hat decoration drawing contest

The contest opens a series of exciting events at the "Tam Ky - Sua Flower Season 2025" Festival organized by the People's Committee of Tam Ky City.

Under the talented hands of amateur artists, including women's union members, youth union members, and teachers at all levels in the city, nearly 1,000 conical hats have become vivid works of art.

On each conical hat, the image of a graceful Vietnamese woman, or the simple beauty of Tam Ky countryside, the brilliant yellow color of clusters of sua flowers... are expressed delicately, creatively and emotionally.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Yen - President of Tam Ky City Women's Union, along with the ao dai, the conical hat is not only an everyday item but also a symbol closely associated with the soul and identity of the Vietnamese people.

Therefore, through the contest, the Organizing Committee hopes to create a meaningful playground where women and youth union members can express their love for their homeland and country and their appreciation for national cultural traditions.

Not stopping at an art competition, the conical hats filled with emotions and passion will continue to appear in the display and exhibition spaces at the "Tam Ky - Sua Flower Season 2025" Festival.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the A prize to An Xuan ward and Tam Phu commune; the B prize to Hoa Huong and An My wards. The Organizing Committee also awarded 4 C prizes and 4 Encouragement prizes to the remaining units.

The festival "Tam Ky - Sua flower season 2025" officially takes place from April 10 - 13 at Huong Tra eco-village.

The festival has more than 10 special activities such as: Announcing the tourist destination of Huong Tra Eco-Village; Charming Vietnamese Ao Dai Festival and Huong Tra Dance; Exchange of Chinese chess clubs; Bicycle racing; Boat racing; "Sparkling Huong Tra" lantern festival, along with a space to display OCOP products, startups and city agriculture,...
