The female artist once revealed that it seemed that the stage and film industry had chosen her. She herself did not think she could be an actress, so she took the directing exam because she was not confident in her height. Sharing in the show Weekend Date , the "muse" said: "In 1995, I gave birth to my first child, Thanh Loc called to invite me to act. I didn't dare to look at the script, but inside I was restless and stressed. My husband firmly said he wouldn't let me act.

In my life there are two men, one is my father, whom I have also passed by. The other is my husband. My husband said: If I want to have a career, there are only two things. One is to have a career and not have a husband and children. The other is to have no career but have a husband and children.

At that time I was very gentle, but I don't know why I still answered: I have a job, have children but no husband and have a job, have both husband and children.

After hearing that, my husband packed his things and left the house, but he came back the following week. From then on, my husband was scared and did not dare to stop me from performing anymore.

Until now, I still say yes to my husband, very respectful and very afraid, because after all, he is 12 years older than me. But I think, what is right and belongs to me, I have the right to decide. And that was my right decision. I raised my child with the stage and the audience. And my child is also grateful for that."

After giving birth to her first child, the female artist was forced by her husband to choose: either family or career.

She got married early and did not hesitate to work hard to take care of her family. Before coming to Thanh Thuy, her husband had a broken marriage and had 2 sons.
