Gifted Secondary School (DHSP) first recruited 105 6th grade students

Regarding the admission subjects, students who have completed the primary education program in 2025, within the age range for entering grade 6 according to regulations nationwide. Candidates must meet the following requirements: The results of the student's educational assessment at the end of the primary school year must be at the level of good completion or higher; Have valid documents; Accept the school's admission regulations.

The admission method consists of 2 rounds: Preliminary selection and Assessment of students' overall capacity. In which, the Preliminary round is evaluated by scores according to the following criteria: Scores for excellent and talented students based on the results of participation in social activities, talent competitions in culture, arts, physical education and sports at the provincial, national, regional and international levels; the scoring method is as follows: first prize is 5.0 points, second prize is 4.0 points, third prize is 3.0 points, consolation prize is 2.0 points; The results of the comprehensive assessment of students' education at the end of the school year of each primary school class at the excellent level are 3.0 points, good level are 2.0 points.

Preliminary score = Excellent and talented student exam score + 5-year primary school study results

Students with a total preliminary score of 12.0 points or higher will be able to participate in the second round of capacity assessment.

In round 2, the school organizes a capacity assessment for students who have passed the preliminary round with a comprehensive capacity assessment. The assessment content is knowledge of cultural, artistic, and physical education subjects in the primary education program, mainly in the current grade 5 program. The assessment is in the form of objective multiple choice tests combined with essays, and candidates do the test directly on paper within 120 minutes. The score of the comprehensive capacity assessment is calculated on a 100-point scale.

Candidates included in the admission list must be candidates who meet the admission requirements and do not violate the Regulations to the extent that their results are canceled; Admission is based on the score of the comprehensive assessment; From the student with the highest admission score down until the quota is met; In case there are many candidates with the same admission score at the last quota, the Admissions Council will consider and decide.

Admission time is as follows:

Admission documents include: Application form (according to the school's form); Copy of birth certificate; Primary school transcript (notarized copy); 02 3x4 photos: full name and date of birth written on the back of the photo (excluding photos attached to other documents in the application); Certificate of winning prizes in social activities, talent competitions organized by the province, nationwide, regional and international (if any, notarized copy).

The school notes that based on the results of the comprehensive capacity assessment and certificates of winning prizes in social activities, talent competitions organized within the province, nationwide, regional and international (if any) in cultural, artistic and sports subjects, the students will be placed in classes appropriate to their abilities and strengths.

Upon entering the school, students will study the 2018 General Education Program for Secondary School Level as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training. In addition, students can participate in experiential, career-oriented, and talent-enhancing programs in the form of clubs in the following areas: Mathematics and Information Technology; Natural Sciences and Technology; Social Sciences and Arts.

Regarding tuition, it is expected to be 4,000,000 VND/1 student/1 month. The school will announce the specific tuition fee after receiving instructions from the Ministry of Education and Training on tuition fees for secondary schools with regular self-financing.
