Group 1 (direct admission, direct admission, priority admission) :
a) Candidates (directly admitted according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET); winning first, second, third prizes at national and international levels) who are eligible for "direct admission, direct admission" must register to study a training program suitable for the subject in which they won first, second, or third prizes in the national and international excellent student selection exam; the time of winning the prize is no more than 3 years; and have graduated from high school in 2024. Specifically as follows:
- Literature, Math and English : for administration - law, business administration, law, international trade law and English language;
- Japanese and French: for law majors ;
- Physics : for administration - law, business administration, law and international commercial law;
- Chemistry : for administration - law, business administration, law;
- History : for law and English majors;
- Geography: for law majors .
b) Candidates (people with extremely severe disabilities; ethnic minorities with very few people; from 20 poor border and island districts in the Southwest region; with a permanent residence of 3 years or more, studying 3 years at a boarding school for ethnic minorities based on the place of permanent residence and graduating from high school in poor districts according to regulations of the Government and Prime Minister; foreigners) who are eligible for "direct admission" according to regulations in Clause 2, Article 7 of the School's Admission Regulations;
c) Candidates (who won national consolation prizes) are eligible for "priority admission" according to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 7 of the School's Admission Regulations. Conditions :
- The prize-winning subject must be in the registered subject group;
- The total score of 3 exams and subjects in the 2024 High School Graduation Exam in the registered subject group must be from 22.5 points or higher (including priority points by region and by policy subjects), in which the score of the subject in which the candidate won the consolation prize must be from 7.0 points or higher in the 2024 High School Graduation Exam;
- The time of winning the prize is not more than 3 years, calculated from the year of submitting the priority application for admission;
- Admission confirmation has not been made on the general enrollment support system of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Group 2 (early admission according to the school's admission plan) :
a) Candidates have international language certificates in English/ or French/ or Japanese. If these certificates have an expiration date, they must be valid until June 30, 2024 .
b) Conditions:
- Graduated from high school;
- Have minimum international language proficiency as follows:
+ For English: IELTS score of 5.5 or higher (issued by British Council (BC) or International Development Program (IDP) ; or TOEFL iBT score of 65 or higher (issued by Educational Testing Service (ETS) ;
+ For French (only for Law majors) : DELF certificate with level B1 or higher or TCF certificate with score of 300 or higher/skill or higher. These two types of certificates must be issued by the International Pedagogical Research Center (Centre International d'Etudes Pedagogiques - CIEP) grant;
+ For Japanese (only for Law majors) : JLPT certificate from N3 level or higher (issued by the Japan Foundation (JF), in the Japanese language proficiency test) .
- Have an average score of 5 high school semesters (including Grade 10, Grade 11 and semester 1 of Grade 12) of 3 subjects in the registered admission group with a total score of 22.5 or higher (this average score is rounded to 1 decimal place) .
c) Admission principles: when there are more candidates who meet all the above conditions than the total quota of Method 1, the School will consider admission in the following order of priority:
- International Language Certificate score;
- Average score of 5 high school semesters of 3 subjects in the admission group (rounded to 1 (one) decimal place) ;
- Average score of 5 high school semesters of the main subject in the admission group; for group D00, the main subject is Literature.
Group 3 (early admission according to the school's admission plan ) :
a) Candidates studying at specialized high schools, gifted high schools and high schools with the highest average score in the high school graduation exam according to the list of "High schools with priority for early admission in 2024 of the National University" Ho Chi Minh City ;
b) Conditions:
- Graduated from high school;
- Must have studied for 3 years at schools listed in the "List of high schools with priority for early admission in 2024 of Ho Chi Minh City National University" ;
- Have academic results of each year of Grade 10, Grade 11 and Grade 12 classified as excellent ; and have an average score of 24.5 or higher for the 3 years of high school (this average score is rounded to 1 (one) decimal place) ;
- Have an average score of 5 high school semesters (including Grade 10, Grade 11 and semester 1 of Grade 12) of 3 subjects in the registered admission group with a total score of 24.5 or higher (this average score is rounded to 1 (one) decimal place) .
c) Admission principles: when there are more candidates who meet all the above conditions than the total quota of Method 1, the School will consider admission in the following order of priority:
- Average total score of 3 years of high school, grades 10, 11 and 12 (rounded to 1 (one) decimal place) ;
- Average score of 5 high school semesters of 3 subjects in the admission group (rounded to 1 (one) decimal place) ;
- Average score of 5 high school semesters of the main subject in the Admission Combination; for Combination D00, the main subject is Literature.
Principles of admission registration, number of registration wishes; and principles of considering eligibility for admission (except high school graduation condition)
a) Principles of admission registration and number of registration wishes :
- Candidates who have registered their admission wishes according to the "direct admission, direct admission" criteria are not allowed to register according to the "early admission" method (ie they are not allowed to register for criteria 2 and/or criteria 3) . These candidates are allowed to register for a maximum of 5 (five) wishes;
- Candidates who are eligible to register for admission according to the "priority admission" category, category 2 and category 3 are entitled to register for all three categories. These candidates are allowed to register for an unlimited number of options ;
- Candidates' wishes for admission to the school's training programs are ranked from 1 to the end (wish 1 is the highest wish).
b) Principles for considering early admission eligibility (except high school graduation requirement) :
- For candidates who only register for admission according to subject 1 or subject 2 or subject 3: in case there are many wishes that meet the admission conditions, the candidate will be recognized by the school and announced as admitted (expected) according to the highest wish;
- For candidates registering for admission according to the "priority admission" category, category 2 and category 3: in case there are many wishes belonging to the "priority admission" category, category 2 and category 3 both meet the admission requirements , the candidate will be recognized by the school and announced as admitted (expected) in order of priority:
+ The highest wish of the subject is "priority admission";
+ The highest wish of the subject 2.
