According to Article 57 of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety, which has been passed by the National Assembly and will officially take effect from January 1, 2025, a Class B1 driver's license will not be allowed to drive vehicles as before (including cars).

Specifically, with a class B1 driver's license, which previously allowed drivers to drive passenger cars and light trucks, those with a class B1 driver's license will now only be allowed to drive three-wheeled motorcycles and class A1 vehicles, including two-wheeled motorcycles with a cylinder capacity of up to 125cm3 or an electric motor capacity of up to 11kW.
