Collecting and increasing taxes of more than 62 billion VND through inspection and supervision

Dak Lak Tax Department said that since the beginning of the year, the tax sector has stepped up tax inspection, examination and supervision activities, thereby collecting and increasing taxes of more than 62 billion VND.

Specifically, the tax authority conducted 781 inspections and checks at taxpayers' headquarters (equal to 71% of the annual plan), including 105 inspections and 676 audits, with the total amount of tax arrears, administrative fines, and late payment fees of more than VND57.8 billion.

In addition, the tax sector inspected and supervised 7,785 tax declarations at tax agency headquarters, with the additional tax amount collected through file supervision being more than VND 4.4 billion.

Up to now, tax, fee and charge collection in the province has reached 3,790 billion VND, equivalent to 73.5% of the central budget estimate and 69.4% of the provincial People's Council budget estimate.

In the coming time, the tax sector will focus on implementing inspection measures to prevent tax losses in the fields of e-commerce, mineral exploitation, and transfer pricing.
