In the past 3 years, the educational quality of Lien Son High School has maintained its position in the top 10 of the province’s high schools. One of the school’s outstanding indicators is the results of the high school graduation exam.
In the 2022 high school graduation exam, when the Covid-19 epidemic broke out, students' review work encountered many difficulties, but the school still achieved excellent results, increasing 18 places, rising to 5th place in the province, and was commended by the Director of the Department of Education and Training.
In the 2024 high school graduation exam, the school maintained its position in the top 7 high schools in the province with an average score of 7.79 points, an increase of 0.33 points compared to the 2023 high school graduation exam; in which, the average score of Biology ranked 2nd, Literature and Geography ranked 3rd, Chemistry ranked 4th, Physics ranked 7th; the average score of natural science exams (Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology) ranked 3rd in the province; considering university entrance exam groups, group B ranked 5th in the province, groups A and C ranked 6th in the province; nearly 77% of students had an average score of 3 university entrance exam subjects of 24 points or higher.
The rate of students passing the university entrance exam has increased over the years, typically in the 2024-2025 school year it was 74%, an increase of nearly 5% compared to the 2023-2024 school year. The school's key education quality has increased sharply in both quantity and quality. At the provincial excellent student competition in the 2023-2024 school year, the school had 136 excellent student awards, an increase of 44 awards compared to the 2022-2023 school year. In the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year, although only grade 12 students took the provincial excellent student competition, the school achieved 62 awards...
