72 years ago, on March 15, 1953, in the Viet Bac resistance base, President Ho Chi Minh signed a decree on the establishment of the National Cinema and Photography Enterprise, which was the foundation for the birth of the Vietnamese photography industry. From 71 initial members, the country now has more than 1,500 professional and amateur photographers, accompanying the nation on every journey of fighting and building.

Awarding the Medal for the Development of Vietnamese Photography to artists

In Lam Dong, after 38 years of establishment of the Literature and Arts Association, the Photography Association is one of the four majors present since the establishment of the Association, and is one of the most active branches among the 11 branches of the Lam Dong Literature and Arts Association. Many veteran photographers have made great contributions to photography in Lam Dong and the whole country; many members have been awarded noble titles by international photography organizations.

Speaking at the ceremony, poet Nguyen Thanh Hong - Chairman of Lam Dong Literature and Arts Association emphasized: Lam Dong's team of photographers has left many marks in the artistic life. Lam Dong Photography Association with more than 30 members, of which 19 members of Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists has been considered a strong association in the country for many years. The artists have been constantly passionate about creating, creating many quality works, contributing to promoting the image of Lam Dong people and homeland to the world.

The art photography exhibition "Homeland Beauty" is a practical activity to celebrate the 72nd anniversary of Vietnam Photography Day, the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Lat towards national reunification. The exhibition introduces to the public 116 works by 30 photographers, the creative achievements marking a journey of passion for the art of photography.

Lam Dong photographers, with their love for their homeland, have not been afraid of difficulties, have made efforts to travel to many regions, captured beautiful moments, and created thousands of works of high aesthetic value and skillful techniques. These are images of Lam Dong land and people, the people and homeland of Vietnam after 50 years of national reunification.

Exhibition attracts public

Among the 116 works introduced to the public this time, 67 works vividly reflect the achievements of economic, cultural and social development of Lam Dong; the architectural characteristics of Da Lat, beautiful natural landscapes, the daily life of the gentle, elegant and hospitable people of Da Lat.

The remaining 49 works are images of every part of Vietnam's countryside, the result of the artists' artistic labor, spending a lot of time and effort to visit many lands, hunting for moments that show how beautiful our country is, and how industrious and creative the Vietnamese people are.

The art photography exhibition "Homeland Beauty" has received attention, support and sponsorship from the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.

On this occasion, 4 Lam Dong photographers with more than 20 years of photography experience were awarded the Medal for the Development of Vietnamese Photography by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists: Nguyen Thanh Liem, Nguyen Ba Hao, Tran Thiet Dung, Vu Thi Tinh.
