On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) combined with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan Province (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) and the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Provincial People's Committee said that there are many gratitude activities to show gratitude to those who have contributed to the revolution. Accordingly, the province requires sectors and localities to focus on propagating and educating revolutionary traditions, arousing patriotism, national pride and raising awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and people in implementing preferential policies of the Party and State for those who have contributed to the revolution and their relatives. Promote the movements of “Repaying gratitude”, “When drinking water, remember its source”, “Commune, ward, and town do a good job of supporting war invalids, martyrs, and people with meritorious services” to contribute to encouraging and caring for the lives of families of people with meritorious services to the revolution. Fully and promptly implement the preferential policies and regimes of the Party and State for people with meritorious services to the revolution. Continue to do a good job of caring for and repaying gratitude to people with meritorious services to the revolution and their relatives. Organize practical and meaningful activities to express the gratitude of the Party, State, and People to people with meritorious services to the revolution. According to the plan, the organization of gratitude activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan Province (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) will include visits and gift giving to families with meritorious services and people with revolutionary contributions in the province. In addition, reviewing and repairing construction items at the provincial Martyrs' Cemetery, building and repairing houses for families with meritorious services and people with revolutionary contributions according to the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Binh Thuan province in the period of 2024 - 2025. Proposing to recognize and posthumously award the noble title to 2 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers. Continuing to promptly and fully implement preferential policies for people with revolutionary contributions according to current regulations. Focus on resolving the regimes of nursing, worshiping martyrs, and July 27 gifts from the President for people with meritorious services to the revolution from the central budget and the provincial budget. In addition, review and promptly resolve cases that are eligible for preferential policies for people with meritorious services but the meritorious service recipients themselves, their relatives and their families have not yet requested competent authorities to resolve. Resolutely resolve, do not let backlog of petitions, complaints and denunciations related to the implementation of regimes and policies for people with meritorious services to the revolution. Propagate to localities the commitment not to relapse into poverty and the emergence of poor households for households with members who have contributed to the revolution. Strengthen the search and mobilization of people to discover martyrs' graves to collect remains at martyrs' cemeteries and organize a thoughtful burial of martyrs' remains, and effectively identify the remains of martyrs with missing information. Implement well the movement to support Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and people with revolutionary contributions who are facing difficulties, ensuring a better life.
