Over 9 points/subject still fail the additional admission exam

Hong Duc University (Thanh Hoa) announced additional admission for most majors, including pedagogy majors.

In particular, the History - Geography Pedagogy major has a minimum admission score of up to 28.58 points with only 2 quotas. Some other pedagogical majors of this school also have very high additional admission scores such as Primary Education major 28.42 points, Mathematics Pedagogy major 26.28 points, Preschool Education major 26.2 points, Natural Science Pedagogy major 25.75 points.

Meanwhile, in the opposite direction, non-pedagogical majors have a minimum admission score of only 15 - 16 points.

The University of Education (Hue University) also recruits four additional pedagogical majors. Of which, the History - Geography Pedagogy major has a minimum score for the high school graduation exam score of 27.37 points, while the minimum score for the transcript is only 26.8 points.

Not only teacher training schools, up to now, about 100 schools have announced additional recruitment with thousands of quotas.

The School of Business and Administration, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, is recruiting 70 additional students, including 60 in the Administration and Security major; 10 students in the Business Administration and Technology major.

Candidates applying to the school must pass the preliminary round, including profile and essay evaluation; emotional intelligence (EQ) assessment. The school then considers the results of the high school graduation exam with a minimum score of 22, English score of 6/10 or an English certificate equivalent to IELTS 4.5 or higher.

Vietnam-Japan University - Vietnam National University, Hanoi also announced additional admissions by the following admission methods: Admissions based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam; Admissions based on the results of candidates' capacity profiles (profile evaluation and interview); Admissions based on the results of the capacity assessment test for high school students organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Admissions based on the results of the capacity assessment test for high school students organized by Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City; Admissions based on the results of the SAT / ACT / A-Level standardized exams.

The International School, Vietnam National University, Hanoi also recruits 130 students for the international joint program in each of the majors Accounting and Finance; Hotel, Event and Tourism Management.

Candidates with IELTS certificate 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 72/120 and average grade point of 5 semesters (except semester II grade 12) from 8 or higher will be considered for direct admission. If based on the results of the high school graduation exam, the school considers candidates who achieve 20 points in a combination of 3 subjects, in which English is 6 or higher.

In addition, candidates can register for transcript review if they have an average score of 5 semesters of at least 6.5-7, with a score of 7 in Foreign Language (or an English certificate equivalent to IELTS 5.5).

In the Southern region, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City National University, University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University); Thu Dau Mot University and many other schools also announced additional admissions. This is an opportunity for candidates who were not admitted in the first round to register for admission.
