On the morning of September 15, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Culture Palace coordinated with the Homeland Singing Club to organize the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the 4th "Love the Zither" Festival in 2024.
The festival is organized for children under 15 years old, participating in the competition, contributing to preserving the national cultural identity, traditional music and passion for the zither in particular; at the same time, contributing to popularizing the use and performance of the zither art widely among teenagers and children.
During the two performances on September 14, 58 contestants competed in a folk music performance, from Southern classical music, reformed opera, Southern amateur music, to melodies, folk songs from three regions, Bac Ninh Quan Ho, children's songs...
As a result, the organizing committee awarded the first prize in group A to Le Minh Thuy (Dang Van Ngu Primary School) with the performances Dang dan cung and Giac mo than tien; the first prize in group B was awarded to Nguyen Hoang Khanh Anh (Hai Ba Trung Secondary School) with Long nham, Xuan tinh chan, Mua thu que huong.
The two competition categories also had 4 Second prizes, 1 Third prize, 11 Fourth prizes, the Youngest Contestant award went to Do Hai Linh (Trung Trac Primary School); the Most Impressive Contestant award went to Nguyen Phung Nha Uyen (Nguyen Du Secondary School).
