This afternoon, May 4, the Steering Committee of the Quang Tri Youth Creativity Competition held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the 13th Quang Tri Youth Creativity Competition in 2024.

Quang Tri Youth Creativity Contest is one of the annual and meaningful activities in the creative youth movement, arousing the potential and promoting the creative thinking of teenagers and children.
After 13 times of organization, the contest has attracted thousands of students in the province to participate with many topics and initiatives at all levels.

In 2024, the whole province will have 525 products competing at the district level and 83 models and products participating at the provincial level.
The judging panel has evaluated and selected 30 typical models and products that are new, creative, and have the ability to be applied in practice to award provincial prizes and selected 7 best products to participate in the National Youth and Children's Creativity Contest.

At the ceremony, the competition's Steering Committee awarded 3 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 8 third prizes and 15 consolation prizes. Of which, 3 first prizes include: Automatic chicken feeder by the group of authors Ho Van Minh Triet, Tran Thanh Dat (Ben Quan Secondary and High School, Vinh Linh District).
Automatic control of lights, fans, and fire alarms in the classroom by the group of authors Trinh Bao Nhu and Tran Nguyen Thuy Tien (Trung Son Primary and Secondary School, Gio Linh district).
Software to identify and warn of offshore currents through camera images by author Hoang Duy Quan Trong (Gio Linh High School, Gio Linh district).
