Speaking at the handover ceremony, Mr. Le Nguyen Sinh Nhut, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City emphasized: The construction of the Great Unity House has profound political and humane significance, helping the supported households have stable housing, so that they can work and produce with peace of mind. This is also a practical activity contributing to the city's effective implementation of the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the city in 2025" and the Campaign for the whole population to participate in "Building new rural areas and civilized urban areas", thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality and the city.

Vice President Le Nguyen Sinh Nhut wishes: The members of each family will constantly strive and encourage each other with the determination to develop the economy to escape poverty sustainably. Always pay attention to keeping the house clean and beautiful for long-term use, as a foundation to stabilize life, take care of children's education, and advance in life.

As one of the households receiving the Great Solidarity house, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Dat (Truong Lac ward, O Mon district) shared: "My family's previous life was very difficult, the old house was seriously degraded but due to limited economic conditions, we could not repair or rebuild. Thanks to the attention of the State, local authorities and philanthropists, my family has a solid and sturdy house. This is not only a place to shelter from the rain and sun but also a great motivation for us to strive to improve in life. We promise to use this house well, take care of production and labor, raise our children and contribute a small part of our efforts to build our homeland to develop more and more."
