(Dan Tri) - In the bright lights of the construction site, hundreds of machines and workers are working hard all night to speed up the progress of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway through Dong Nai province.
In the first days of the year, the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway construction site through Dong Nai province has become busier than ever. Contractors have increased manpower and machinery to speed up the project's slow progress. At component project 1, the section through Long Thanh district, after the site was handed over at the end of 2024, contractors deployed 3 shifts, 4 crews with a large amount of machinery and workers to make up for the delay. A representative of Lizen Joint Stock Company said that the unit has maintained more than 100 machines and engineers and construction workers throughout the holiday, working 3 shifts, 4 shifts continuously day and night to speed up progress. Engineer Ninh The Thuong shared: "The company has prepared equipment, materials, and workers in advance. After the locality handed over the site, we immediately started construction. The unit is expected to lay asphalt in January and complete 2.5km of the expressway before the April 30 holiday this year." At the construction site, hundreds of machines from cranes, excavators... continuously work under bright lights. "Dong Nai is entering the dry season, the weather is cool at night, the construction teams work very effectively. The company's leaders always care, support and encourage the brothers to focus on working to ensure the overall progress of the entire project," engineer Ninh The Thuong shared. All machines are equipped with lighting systems for nighttime work. Labor safety is a concern of construction units. Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway section through An Phuoc Commune, Long Thanh District has completed leveling the ground, and is constructing a layer of crushed stone and hard concrete before paving the asphalt. This expressway section is expected to be completed by the middle of this year.
