On December 16, in Ho Chi Minh City, a program of propaganda, experience, and practice of fire fighting and rescue took place for nearly 8,500 people to attend at 31 locations at the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PCCC-CNCH) PC07, Ho Chi Minh City Police and police of districts and Thu Duc City.
The program helps people, students, and workers to be equipped with basic knowledge of fire prevention and fighting and rescue; master the use of equipment and escape skills when fires, explosions, incidents, and accidents occur.
At the program, residents and students were instructed by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Force on knowledge and skills to handle fire and explosion situations and escape skills in case of fire in households and crowded places; were introduced to the model of "fire prevention and fighting safety inter-family group" and "Public fire fighting points" in residential areas.
The Fire Police also guided people in practicing firefighting, rescue and first aid skills. These include escaping by ladder truck, rescuing people, moving to escape in a smoky environment, using a portable fire extinguisher to extinguish a fire caused by a gas leak; spreading fire hoses, demonstrating rescue rope techniques, climbing ropes without support tools, and escaping using a slow-lowering rope set.
In addition, students and residents also listened to and watched the Fiber last firefighting and rescue model; heard about the uses of the fire alarm and rescue app (Help 114)...
