The Southern Hydrometeorological Station said that the heat in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces will continue to decrease, with the highest temperature ranging from 33-36 degrees Celsius, with some places above 36 degrees Celsius. It is forecasted that many places in the Southern region, including Ho Chi Minh City, will have showers and thunderstorms this evening. Beware of strong gusts of wind, whirlwinds, lightning, and hail in thunderstorms.

During the first 10 days of May, Ho Chi Minh City is likely to have scattered showers and thunderstorms with some places having moderate rain. Beware of tornadoes and gusts of wind during thunderstorms.

In the middle and end of May, Ho Chi Minh City will begin to experience seasonal rains, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the city. Beware of thunderstorms, lightning, and hail that may occur during thunderstorms. In addition, hot weather with the highest temperature of 35-37 degrees Celsius is likely to occur in the city center for a few days.
