Selection of film script outlines to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding

This is a program to promote the writing of high-quality feature film scripts, towards the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding; build a source of film scripts with valuable ideological content and good form of expression; praise the country and people of Vietnam, promote patriotism, revolutionary traditions, national culture and humanistic values.

The program is for professional creators such as screenwriters, directors, writers, artists, etc. working in the film industry. Each author can participate with a maximum of 2 script outlines and scripts. Authors with approved script outlines or scripts will receive investment support for each stage of creation and participate in actual creative activities.

The script outlines and scripts for the program have topics on revolutionary history, leaders, national heroes; highlands, mountainous areas, border areas, islands, ethnic minority areas; preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural values. In particular, the central content is the comprehensive leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam on all levels: leading the people to fight against foreign invaders; fighting for national independence and national unification; building socialism with the goal of "Rich people, strong country, democracy, equality, civilization"; international integration...; scripts on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.

The script outline and script must be new, not having participated in any contest, writing camp, in-depth investment program, or script selection for film production using the State budget of the Department of Cinema and not yet produced. The Organizing Committee encourages authors to submit a production plan right from the time of submitting the script outline, including composition, planned filming location, total estimated film production cost, etc. The script outline and complete script must be sent to the Department of Cinema and via email: [email protected] from April 5 to May 20. The Organizing Committee will select and accept the outline before May 30.
