The 21st Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival officially opened

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Huynh Thanh Nhan affirmed the role, potential and position of Ho Chi Minh City Tourism as the tourism center of the country and the region. The figures on tourism growth (visitors and revenue) in recent years are evidence of the strong growth and development of the City's tourism industry, continuing to be the nucleus connecting and promoting the development of tourism in the Southeast region and the Mekong Delta.

According to the Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, the 21st Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival is not only an annual event of the City's tourism industry but also one of the opening events for a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Huynh Thanh Nhan delivered the opening speech of the 21st Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival - 2025.

The festival was organized with the main idea of ​​"Convergence and Shine" as the spirit of the April days 50 years ago, when children from all over the country, with bare feet, iron will and burning hearts for the cause of national unification, gathered in Saigon - Gia Dinh, creating a brilliant spring of national unification, creating the premise for a Ho Chi Minh City to shine in the past 50 years on the world map.

The theme "Convergence and Shine" also represents the spirit of solidarity, innovation and development - a tribute to the companionship of the whole country, a place where the quintessence of culture, technology and people from all regions converge to make Vietnamese tourism shine. It is the convergence and shine of cultural values ​​in each tourism product; the strong application of technology and artificial intelligence to create new products, aiming at green consumption - sustainable tourism; the close connection between localities - businesses - tourists to together build a modern, friendly, dynamic and unique tourism industry".

The 21st Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival will take place from April 3 to 6, 2025 at 23/9 Park (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).

According to a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, this year's Festival has been innovated in its organization and added to its activities to become an event that combines the need to promote tourism products and destinations while becoming an interactive and co-creative festival with tourists.

One of the highlights at the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival is the tourism stimulus space - a place where hundreds of high-quality, affordable travel opportunities from leading localities and businesses in the industry converge.

This year, with a scale of more than 100 booths from 41 provinces and cities and 32 travel, transportation and airline businesses, the stimulus space not only offers nearly 900 preferential tourism products and services with discounts of up to 45%, but also opens up a space for interaction, experience, and introduction of culture - cuisine - unique products of each region.

In addition to introducing and selling tours - products - services on-site, the stimulus space is also an opportunity for businesses in the tourism and service ecosystem to exchange, find partners, and discuss business models - new development directions after the strong recovery period of the tourism industry.
