On the afternoon of September 3, the Da Nang Department of Tourism informed about the implementation of tourism activities in the city during the National Day holiday in 2024 (from August 31 to September 3).
Da Nang earns over 1,200 billion VND from tourism on September 2 holiday
According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, the total number of visitors to Da Nang during the holiday (from August 31 to September 3) reached nearly 308,000, an increase of 21.2% over the same period in 2023. Of which, domestic visitors reached about 217,000, an increase of 23.8% over the same period in 2023; international visitors reached about 91,000, an increase of 15.3% over the same period in 2023. Total tourism revenue reached more than 1,200 billion VND, an increase of 33.8% over the same period in 2023.
The total number of domestic and international flights to Da Nang during the 4-day holiday is estimated at 479, a slight increase compared to the same period in 2023 (an average of 120 flights/day). Of which, there are 202 international flights, an increase of 10% compared to the same period in 2023 (an average of 50 flights/day), and 277 domestic flights (an average of 70 flights/day).
Tourists have fun at Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park.
The leader of the Da Nang Department of Tourism said that this year, the number of tourists traveling by rail and road by their own means, especially from neighboring localities such as Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, etc., has increased significantly. The weather in Da Nang this time is sunny and beautiful, very favorable for people and tourists to visit, swim, experience services, and participate in activities and events of the city.
In particular, the number of visitors to Da Nang by rail reached about 10,678, a sharp increase of 42.43% over the same period last year.
The total number of guests at tourist accommodation establishments during the 4-day holiday reached about 89,290, an increase of 18.2% over the same period in 2023. The average room occupancy rate was about 50-55%, with the largest concentration of guests staying at coastal accommodation establishments and some 4-5 star hotels in the city center, with individual guests accounting for 60-70%. Of which, the overall occupancy rate of 4-5 star and equivalent tourist accommodation establishments was estimated at 55-65%; the average occupancy rate of 3-star or lower tourist accommodation establishments was estimated at 35-45%.
The number of river tourists during the 4-day holiday reached about 11,980, an increase of 17% over the same period in 2023.

Diversified tourism products to serve tourists
According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, on this occasion, some areas that welcome a large number of visitors include Sun World Ba Na Hills, Asia Park, Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, Mikazuki Water Park, the special national monument of Ngu Hanh Son, Hai Van Quan relic, and eco-tourism spots in Hoa Vang (Hoa Bac, Hoa Ninh...).
In addition, local people and domestic and international tourists gather to shop, use culinary services in large numbers at Con Market, Han Market and neighboring areas, participate in swimming, and experience activities at Son Tra Peninsula.

The Department of Tourism has directed the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches to ensure security, order, environmental sanitation, and safety for people and tourists during the holidays; arrange 100% of rescue and patrol forces to ensure security and order... The Tourist Support Center has received 1,750 visitors at the office and information counters at the airport, supporting information provision through 47 calls, 09 emails, 75 messages from tourists via social networking applications.
Tourism service businesses in the city have implemented self-inspection, ensuring service quality, complying with regulations on security, order, environmental sanitation, food safety... to serve people and tourists.
