At the opening ceremony, Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the City Department of Tourism, emphasized that the Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2025 is not only an annual event but also an opportunity for Da Nang to affirm its position as an attractive culinary destination on the world tourism map.
The highlight of the festival is the "Delicious Food Convergence" area, where diners can enjoy more than 200 diverse dishes, from local specialties such as Quang noodles, banh xeo, and vermicelli with fish cakes to international dishes prepared by top chefs.
In addition, the "Countryside Gifts" and "Countryside Market" areas will offer specialty products and unique souvenirs imbued with Vietnamese culture.
Not only stopping at enjoying, visitors also have the opportunity to participate in "Danang Food Fun", an interesting interactive space where everyone can prepare traditional dishes by themselves and learn secrets from professional chefs.
One of the most prominent activities of the festival is the “Da Nang Food Tour - The Chef Competition”, which brings together more than 20 excellent chefs from famous restaurants and hotels. Contestants will not only demonstrate their cooking talent but also present their creative culinary stories, creating inspiring competitions.

Also at the festival, for the first time, the Da Nang Food Tour Culinary Passport was introduced with 5,000 copies published in both Vietnamese and English. When participating, diners can collect confirmation stamps at prominent dining locations to redeem attractive gifts and receive special offers from restaurants on the list.
Not only stopping at festivals, Da Nang is gradually developing culinary tourism in a professional and sustainable direction. In March 2025, Danaksara restaurant at Furama Villas Danang Resort officially reopened, focusing on Central dishes prepared according to standard recipes. The restaurant is committed to using ingredients from local farmers and fishermen, contributing to preserving cultural values and creating a sustainable tourism ecosystem.
With continuous efforts, Da Nang aims to welcome 11.9 million visitors in 2025, including 4.8 million international visitors. Revenue from accommodation, food and beverage and travel is expected to reach more than VND36,000 billion.
