Central Asian tourists open the door to 'tropical paradise' Da Nang, entering the Central heritage

At noon on April 2, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City coordinated with Da Nang International Airport and Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company to welcome a flight from Almaty (Kazakhstan) bringing nearly 300 passengers to Da Nang City.

At T2 international terminal, passengers watched a welcoming art performance, all were welcomed by leaders of the Department of Tourism and coordinating units, and presented with flowers and souvenirs.

The tour group is operated by travel companies Crystal Bay Tour and Rustar DMC Vietnam. From now until October, the route from Almaty and Astana (Kazakhstan) - Da Nang will operate 4 flights/week, of which Crystal Bay Tour will operate 300 charter flights with about 50,000 tourists.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Chi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Crystal Bay Group, said that the group's "advancement" from Khanh Hoa to Da Nang City is part of the group's strategy to turn Central Asia into a key source market for tourism in the Central region, in which Da Nang City plays the role of "the door to the tropical paradise", and at the same time is the gateway to bring visitors to the heritage of Hoi An, My Son, Hue... to sustainably exploit culture and nature.

On the contrary, tourists from the Central region have the opportunity to explore Kazakhstan, the 9th largest land in the world with a diverse ecosystem from steppes, deserts, snowy mountains, beautiful lake systems... along with nomadic culture and unique cuisine.

According to Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, the Kazakhstan - Da Nang flight route marks an important milestone connecting Da Nang tourism with the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan), opening up a new potential exploitation market, promoting the diversification of tourist sources to Da Nang City.

Therefore, Da Nang City has its own plan to develop tourism products that are popular with international visitors from CIS countries such as beach resorts and entertainment.

This is a group of guests with high spending and long stay characteristics. In addition, the city has improved the quality of human resources and guest service facilities to meet the standards for serving Muslim guests - the main religion in the CIS bloc.
