On behalf of the Ministry of National Defense, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong highly appreciated the results of the rehearsal, emphasizing that compared to previous training sessions, the forces participating in the parade and marching had made great efforts, proactively overcome difficulties, and demonstrated a high sense of responsibility.
For the performance of the Military Ceremonial Corps before the parade, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong requested the participating forces to study and practice more movements when moving in formation, clarifying the image of the Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument in the performance. In addition, the artillery force should pay attention to ensuring accurate firing time. Emphasizing that the time from now until the Anniversary is not long, including holidays, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong directed the forces participating in the parade to refine their ranks, paying special attention to movements when preparing for the parade and marching through the stage.
During the process of moving to Dien Bien province, the forces participating in the parade and marching must uphold their responsibilities, be ready to overcome difficulties; strictly follow discipline, and ensure absolute safety for people and weapons. When arriving in Dien Bien, if any problems arise, the units must promptly report to the Parade and Marching Subcommittee to receive maximum support depending on the actual situation in the area.

The army units will conduct separate joint training in Dien Bien before participating in preliminary and general rehearsals with the police units and the masses to prepare for the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory on May 7, 2024. Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong believes that the forces participating in the parade will successfully complete their tasks, contributing to the overall success of the celebration.
To best prepare for the parade and marching activities in the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Parade and Marching Subcommittee has directed the units to organize strict and serious training according to the program. Over the past time, the units have been trained in the right order, from basic to advanced, mastering individual movements to joint training in rows and block formations.
The Military Training Department (General Staff) - the standing agency of the Parade and Marching Subcommittee regularly monitors, directs, and guides units in training; organizes and unifies weak movements of the units as well as unifies methods of organizing and maintaining training for the units suitable for each training stage.

In addition to the training sessions, the Parade and Marching Subcommittee organized 6 joint training sessions as planned. After each joint training session, lessons were learned, specific limitations and shortcomings were promptly pointed out to each group and recommendations were made for improvement.
When participating in joint training, the units ensured uniforms, weapons and equipment, and were consistent with the conditions for performing official tasks. Regarding the quality of training and joint training of the units, the standing units ensured the time to stand at attention during the training process was from 180 - 210 minutes; the standing process ensured good posture, seriousness, and correct movement techniques. The walking units were trained in basic techniques of walking evenly and at attention; the distance of walking at attention through the stands was 120 - 150m. The units with guns performed the movements of carrying guns, hanging guns, carrying guns, walking evenly, and lifting guns, basically ensuring correct movement techniques.

Through the joint training sessions, it can be seen that the overall quality of the parade training has made significant progress. The group movements are uniform and uniform. The groups have coordinated closely, maintaining horizontal and vertical lines and forming diagonal lines during the march. The groups have walked with firm basic steps and have endurance during the march. Some groups have decisive hand movements and relatively good stopping power.

Some typical groups with good results are: Special Forces group, Special Forces group, Vietnam Women's Peacekeeping group...
Along with organizing and commanding the movement of the parade and marching forces to Dien Bien province closely, on time and ensuring safety, the Parade and Marching Subcommittee directed to ensure comprehensive logistics for the parade and marching forces in Dien Bien Phu city; ensure good military supplies, uniforms, hygiene, food safety; epidemic prevention hygiene; organize well the daily health check-up and prevention of sunstroke and heatstroke for soldiers.
