Provincial leaders offer incense to commemorate heroic martyrs

(Quang Binh Portal) - On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, on the morning of January 16, 2025, a delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee led by Mr. Hoang Xuan Tan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and offered incense at the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery (Quang Tri province) and the Truong Son Martyrs Memorial Temple - Long Dai Ferry (Quang Ninh district).

At the martyrs' cemeteries, the delegation respectfully offered flowers, incense and observed a moment of silence to commemorate the great contributions of the outstanding children who bravely fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and for the happiness of the people.

Remembering the contributions of those who have fallen for the cause of national liberation and unification, the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Binh province vow to continuously promote the revolutionary tradition, uphold the spirit of solidarity, concentrate intelligence and resources to build a rich and developed homeland; at the same time, continue to ensure policies and regimes, and take better care of war invalids, families of policy beneficiaries, and people with meritorious services to the revolution, worthy of the great sacrifices of the heroic martyrs.

After the incense offering ceremony at the main memorial, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the comrades in the working delegation came to offer flowers and incense at the Memorial of the heroic martyrs from Quang Binh province, and burned incense on the graves of martyrs buried in cemeteries.
