On the evening of October 26, in Sam Son City, the Organizing Committee of the 70th Anniversary of the Southern compatriots, cadres, soldiers and students regrouping to the North held a general rehearsal of the program of the 70th Anniversary of the Southern compatriots, cadres, soldiers and students regrouping to the North; an art program with the theme "Thanh Homeland - Nghia Bac - Tinh Nam".

Attending the program's general rehearsal were comrades: Nguyen Doan Anh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Head of the Organizing Committee for activities to celebrate major holidays and important historical events in the province in 2024 and 2025; Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dao Xuan Yen, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Dau Thanh Tung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Organizing Committee for the Celebration Ceremony and representatives of relevant departments, branches and units.

The 70th anniversary celebration of the Southern compatriots, cadres, soldiers and students regrouping to the North includes two parts:

Part I is the speech of Thanh Hoa provincial leaders and the speech of Party and State leaders; conducting the ribbon cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Memorial Site for Southern compatriots, cadres, soldiers and students who gathered in the North.

Part II is a special art program with the theme "Thanh Hometown - Nghia Bac - Tinh Nam" directed by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province, with 3 chapters.

Chapter I: Recreating the unforgettable memories, overcoming difficulties to nurture the revolution of 70 years ago. Chapter 2: The legend of the wartime is the nostalgic and loving sound of the Southern soldiers and compatriots quickly integrating into the new life in the North. Chapter 3: The new rhythm of life is the memory of the affectionate Hoi port, the place that deepened the truth "Vietnam is one, the Vietnamese people are one; rivers may dry up, mountains may wear away, but that truth will never change".

The art program "Que Thanh - Nghia Bac - Tinh Nam" has a duration of 55 minutes, with the performance of more than 300 artists and actors, expressed through continuously changing acting sequences from scenes, music, songs and narration, the structure interweaves many dialogues to create highlights, chaining events of the past and present, creating emotions for the audience. Many stages have interactions between the characters performed by the actors and the images on the LED screen, making the scene at the Memorial Area for Southern compatriots, cadres, soldiers and students who gathered in the North become sparkling and magical...

After the rehearsal, the Organizing Committee held a meeting to review experiences with related units and the program's production team. The comments acknowledged the efforts of the scriptwriter, program director, and the training spirit of the actors and artists participating in the performance. At the same time, he gave specific comments on some contents of the program and requested the program implementation team to fully absorb the comments of the Organizing Committee members, continue to edit and perfect the program to make it more attractive, create an impression so that the program of the 70th Anniversary of the Southern compatriots, cadres, soldiers and students gathering in the North has a profound revolutionary historical significance, educates traditions, and demonstrates the spirit of solidarity between the North and the South.

The ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Southern compatriots, cadres, soldiers and students regrouping to the North and the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the Memorial Site of the Southern compatriots, cadres, soldiers and students regrouping to the North will be held on the evening of October 27, 2024 in Sam Son City.
